When i mean acceptable, it means Bass that doesn't sound like destroying your earphones... I remember trying out DSP Manager for the first time, and i kept tweaking everything to More Bass... When i put on my earphones and listen to some songs, I felt like i'm dying xP... The bass gave me distortion because it can handle the Bass and i decided to tweak to something more reasonable... And this is what i came up with...

Dynamic Range Compression (DFC): ENABLED
Select Sound Effect: MODERATE

Bass Boost: ENABLED
Select Effect Strength: MODERATE

Equalizer: ENABLED

Follow the picture for the Preset...

If your there is some distortion coming out from your earphones, choose SLIGHT for DRC Sound Effect...

I know this is an old post, but I finally found a solution to this horrible bug in the app! Ok so I'm using some fucking $20 headphones by Sony so it seems to have very little to nothing to do with the headphones since I've tried like 3 different ones (ranging from ok to amazing quality). The bass enhancements will only work if you play through one song before the next one without pressing the skip to next song button. Since this is the only solution I just drag the slider along until there's like 5 seconds left and then let the next song that I want to hear come without pressing anything. (you'll have to make a playlist with one song you don't like in the beginning) I can't believe this issue hasn't been addressed because its really annoying and misleads people to think their headphones are just terrible. Well that seems to be the only solution for me so there you go and hopefully the devs fix this and people don't waste money on new headphones.
